You are registering for the nine-month term September through May. You may make one full season payment, quarterly payments, or monthly payments. If you choose quarterly or monthly payments, each payment is the same, regardless of the number of classes in the quarter or month. Payments are due on the first class day of each month. We do not send reminders about tuition payments. If you receive a bill, it means your account is past due. A late fee of $10 will be charged for payment received after the 10th of the month. A $20 fee will be charged for any returned check. No deductions will be made for classes missed. Students may not attend class until tuition is current.
One month's tuition (pre-payment of May 2009) is required with registration. If you withdraw your child after the school year begins, one month's notice is required in order to receive a refund of your advance tuition. Please notify the office in writing to give official notice of your intentions. The advance tuition for May 2009 is refundable when a month's written notice is given.
We realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account. If such problems do arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account. Overdue accounts can result in dismissal and can affect your credit rating.
It is essential that students come to class on time. Lack of proper warm-up at the beginning of class can cause injuries; also late arrivals disrupt class concentration. Students over ten minutes late will be asked to sit and observe. Permission to leave early must be obtained prior to class time.
It is imperative to attend class regularly. If you cannot attend class, call our office (Church Street: 404/378-3388, Beacon Hill: 404/377-6927) to leave a message for your teacher. Absence from class for a valid reason (illness, out of town, holiday) may be made up in a comparable class. During winter months, call our office to find out if classes are cancelled because of snow or ice. If your class is cancelled, you may make up in a comparable class. All classes must be made up within one month of the absence.

Teachers are available for private conferences. Please leave a message at the studio office for the teacher to call you to arrange an appointment. Class schedules do not allow adequate time for private discussions between classes.
Important school notices are posted on the school bulletin board inside the lobby. We encourage the students and their parents to check this board regularly. Also, we send out a newsletter several times during the season to keep you informed.
Please be considerate of the classes in session by being quiet in the dressing rooms, hallways and lobby. Children should be picked up promptly at the end of class. You will be charged a supervision fee if you pick up your child later than 15 minutes after the class ends. For each 15-minute segment (or part thereof), the supervision fee is $5.
We invite parents to observe class three times during the season. You may select your three days. Please do not bring small children with you on your visiting days.
Performance is a valuable and necessary part of the dancer's education. All students will perform in annual end-of-the-season presentations appropriately designed for their age and technical level. Studio demonstrations and/or theater performances are planned for May 2009. Costume fees are due by October 1, 2008. You will be billed for this amount. If your child's class is included in the theater performance, the fee is $65. If your child's class presents a studio demonstration, the fee is $45. Costumes are given out in late spring if your account is current.
